NOTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION - TRUCK PARKING AREA AT THE HEINEKEN BEVERAGES FACILITY ON ERF 261, 10 MARSHALL ROAD, NUFFIELD, SPRINGS

Dear Registered Interested and Affected Party,

You are hereby notified that the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environment (GDARDE) has granted environmental authorisation and approved the Environmental Management Programme for the proposed Truck Parking Area at the Heineken Beverages Facility on Erf 261, Springs in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 and the 2017 Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations.

The environmental authorisation is dated 23 April 2024 and was issued on 23 April 2024.

Appeals

You are reminded that an appeal may be lodged against this decision in terms of the National Appeal Regulations 2014 (as amended). A summary of the appeal process is provided on Pages 1-2 of the environmental authorisation. Should you wish to appeal the decision, you must submit the appeal in writing to the appeal administrator, and copies to the applicant, registered I&APs, organs of state with an interest in the matter, and the decision maker within 20 (twenty) calendar days from the date of this notification.
